Furthermore, does google prioritise the location of search terms based
on their location in the URL?
e.g. search for professional indemnity insurance again
xyz.com/companyname/professional-indemnity-insurance.aspx
xyz.com/business-insurance/professional-indemnity-insurance.aspx
xyz.com/professional-indemnity-insurance/index.aspx
Which of the above would be better optimised to rank higher?
No mention of rubber balls there, so you may be worrying about
something that, at least now, is of little importance. If you want to
keyword your URLs for any help that might give, or more importantly
for visitors, hyphens are theoretically considered best, with
underscores close behind and possibly more readable for visitors.
