garbage containers in the bike/ped lane on Cooper

Hello,

I wanted to send a couple of pictures of the bike/ped lane on Cooper road that were taken this morning about 9:20am. They show garbage and recyclable containers in the lane. I realize that some containers are as far back as they can go against the grass and aren't really a "huge" issue but it would be better if they put them in their driveways. The exception to this is the placement of the recyclable containers in the second picture. They are always in the middle of the lane. Are there any rules/regulations about acceptable usage of this lane? If so, consider making them available to these property owners. The other residents have the respect to never have their containers in the bike/ped lane.

Actually it wasn't a beard but a white balaclava that Jim Coppack was
wearing. This morning we crossed paths in Walnut Hills on our
respective ways to work. I complained I had to teach an 8AM class. Jim
said that Purdue had 7AM classes. Thanks for the perspective Jim!

Look at this idiot, HE thinks that HIS business is more important than the additional risk his behavior places on other road users life and safety! WOW!
Just as most drivers rate themselves as 'above average', they think that they can pull this stuff off. Then when it goes bad, they're remorseful. Why on earth can't people imagine what might go wrong when they drive with 'limited attention' to the task? It absolutely blows my mind! DUH... Cars can kill when attention lapses, or is impaired. Obvious. So WHY do people blithely put THEIR needs to the top, and 'assume' this risk for other road users, on a regular basis?

The rain wins this month. Jeff Berding put safety (and fun) first and
decided to postpone his ride until October, the same day Roxanne will lead
Pedal to the Parks.
Jeff has other commitments on Sunday - AND everybody else wants to go to the
Michael Pollan lecture at the Cintas Center.

Senator Teresa Fedor of Toledo will introduce our Safer Passing Bill
in to the Ohio Senate on Monday, September 28. The bill will require
that motorists pass cyclists leaving at least a three-foot clearance
for safety. I will participate in a 10:30 am Monday news conference
